MS Office in Android and iOS?

Microsoft (MS) will set to release Office versions for Android and iOS early 2013.

Implementation of Excel, Word, and Powerpoint will be free apps which require a MS account. Users can use the basic viewing of the documents. Editing functionality will be available once the user subscribed to Office 365 subscription. 

Since the application is in mobile version, functionality won’t be 100% the same when it comes to editing from the Desktop version with full editing function. 

In a report from The Verge, Mobile MS office will work in iOS, Windows Phone, and Android. Recent MS press release Office Mobile Apps will be available for iOS late February or early March 2013 and Android will be on May 2013. 

This will be what some executives and professionals or even students are looking for.

HTC One X+ Smartphone is now official

HTC Once X+ is officially takes off in a box as it’s more impressive on its features and uses. The Taiwan based company unveils the improvements from its battery deficiency on HTC One X. This would be a nice offer for the owner of the latter device.

Samsung officially announces Galaxy Premier i9260

Samsung officially announced Galaxy Premier i9260 that created buzz and rumors before its launching.

Like Apple iPhones, netizens commented for the similarities of Samsung models. Well, this would be part of the marketing strategy and intro of their succeeding models in the future.

This smartphone price will be UAH 5,555 which will be released on November 2012 in Russia and on December 2012 in Ukraine. That price is more or less equivalent to P28,000 or around $680.

Toyota unveils new electric car

A brand new electric car from Toyota has arrived in the United States – in the form of the 2013 Scion iQ EV (pictured). 

The battery-electric four-seat city car has been designed specifically for urban car sharing programmes, particularly on university campuses; and Toyota is targeting around 90 units for these applications. According to Chris Hostetter, who is the group vice president of strategic planning for Toyota, the iQ EVs will be featured in fleet and car sharing applications and will expand on Toyota’s portfolio of advanced technology vehicles: which already includes the likes of the Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid; the Toyota RAV4 EV; and the Toyota FCHV-ADV.

It’s notable that the successful firms have opted for either one model or the other: none makes significant money from both content and hardware.

Microsoft launched its “Microsoft Surface” via a video teaser advertisement. The tablet shows a fine creation and elegant appearance that will surely compete with the latest technology in the market worldwide.

The promotion line states “A tablet that's a unique expression of entertainment and creativity…A tablet that works and plays the way you want…A new type of computing. Surface!”

Top comment on the video is it will able to connect an external blueray player which enable you to watch movies.  Will it be?

Added comments were “Will connect iPhone, iPod and iPad and sync, charge and manage them. Will connect my camera's manage them. Will run photoshop, not a toy app but full app. Can login to my office through VPN and can actually work, Will run my enterprise client tools, will run office with a KEY BOARD. Whoa... A price of $899 will surely worth paying for the gadget according to krishnaallam.

This technology will be a stiff competitor of Apple’s iPad. We’ll wait for the official lunch of Microsoft’s Surface as it surely drives the intensity of entertainment and on how people use technology in a different way of computing.
