Yes, that is true! Have you ever noticed the website icon or commonly known as Favicon on top of themost viewed websites? Have you seen the common design? Those were located in the address bar wherein it reflects
the brand or identity of the website.
While browsing the net, I looked and discovered those Favicon
in different way. I discovered that all of them used their first letter of the
company name. Take a look on it as you realize what I am trying to point out.
Yahoo.com is an internet company known on its services such
as search engine, email, news, advertising, social media, sports, financials,
groups, answers, directory and other web services.
Forbes.com is well known for its magazine publishing for
business. They also gives information on technology, lifestyle, science, law
and the best, richest, and lists of billionaires in the world.
Blogger.com is a servicing site that allows blogger like me
create articles, journals, notes, etc. It is being owned by google.com.
Google.com is the most famous search engine in the universe
that includes, web, images, youtube, news and a lot of more. They also provide
advertisement like adsense, cloud computing, productivity tools, enterprise
tools, maps, Android OS, etc.
Wikipedia.com is a free encyclopedia as the website stated.
According to the site itself, it is a free, collaboratively edited and
multilingual internet encyclopedia supported by non-profit Wikimedia
Foundation.
Amazon.com is the most famous selling book store in virtual
world. But it‘s more than just a book store but it’s the widest retailer online
or commonly called electronic commerce or e-commerce.
Bing.com is not a name of a person! (Chuckle). It is owned
by Microsoft Corporation and it is a search engine. And according to Wiki, it
is formerly (Live Search, Windows Live Search, MSN Search).
Tumblr.com is a feature rich and free blog hosting platform offering professional and fully customizable templates, bookmarklets,
photos, mobile apps, and social network and a lot of more.
Babylon.com is a search engine also which is
owned by Babylon Ltd. It is also an online dictionary and translator.
VK.com is a social networking site. Unlike
Facebook, it is most popular in Russia.
Facebook.com is the hottest website ever. In
today’s world, life is empty without facebook, or we can say life is incomplete
without facebook. It is the modern social networking site that is founded by
Mark Elliot Zuckerberg of California, USA, which is two years younger than the
owner of this blog, AmazingBrandz.com.
Pinterest.com is a virtual pin board where
you can share your photos in different format or template you want.
Wordpress.com is like a blogger.com that
allows blogger to create free sites for web blog hosting and advertising.
